Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of authoritycat.com and the AuthorityCat marketplace, dashboards, team workspaces, website-scanning tools, connected services, and related features. By creating an account, accessing a workspace, or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you use AuthorityCat for a company, agency, publisher, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for your credentials, authorized team members, workspace permissions, and activity performed through your account.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.
- One person or organization may not use multiple accounts to evade restrictions, moderation, fees, or enforcement.
Marketplace roles and relationship
AuthorityCat provides tools that allow buyers to discover marketplace websites and request placements, publishers to list websites and fulfill eligible orders, and teams to manage access and work. Unless expressly stated for a particular transaction, AuthorityCat is not the publisher, buyer, owner, editor, or author of marketplace content and does not become a party to an agreement between a buyer and publisher merely by providing the platform.
AuthorityCat may verify domain control, review listings, moderate activity, and provide workflow records, but those measures do not guarantee the identity, performance, legality, editorial practices, continued availability, or results of any user, website, or placement.
Publisher listings and verification
- Publishers must control or be authorized to represent each submitted website and must provide accurate categories, pricing, traffic, authority metrics, restrictions, and turnaround information.
- A verification or approval status reflects the checks performed at that time. It is not a guarantee of future metrics, indexing, traffic, editorial acceptance, or placement permanence.
- Publishers must disclose material restrictions and may not submit unlawful, deceptive, stolen, compromised, or misrepresented websites.
- AuthorityCat may request additional evidence, correct obvious classification issues, suspend a listing, or approve, reject, disable, or remove it to protect marketplace integrity.
Orders, content, and placements
Buyers are responsible for submitting lawful, accurate, and complete placement requirements, including target URLs, anchor text, content, claims, and special instructions. Publishers are responsible for reviewing the brief, confirming they can fulfil it, and delivering the agreed placement in accordance with the accepted order.
A publisher may reject a request that conflicts with its editorial standards, applicable law, platform rules, or the agreed scope. Buyers and publishers must use the AuthorityCat order record for material requirements, delivery information, revisions, and status changes so that disputes can be reviewed fairly.
Fees, wallet, payments, and refunds
Prices, fees, taxes, currency, wallet credits, and payment options are shown in the service when applicable. You authorize AuthorityCat and its configured payment providers to process the transactions you initiate. Payment providers may impose their own terms and verification requirements.
Wallet credits are a service balance for eligible AuthorityCat transactions, are not a bank account, and do not earn interest. Except where required by law or expressly approved through the applicable order or payment workflow, fees and completed transactions are non-refundable. If an accepted service is not delivered or an order cannot proceed, any refund or account credit will be determined from the order record, payment status, work completed, and applicable law.
You must contact us promptly about an incorrect or unauthorized charge and must not use a chargeback to obtain both a payment reversal and the benefit of a completed placement.
Acceptable use
You may not use AuthorityCat to:
- Break the law, infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or distribute deceptive, defamatory, malicious, or harmful content.
- Manipulate reviews, metrics, identity, pricing, traffic, verification evidence, order records, or marketplace ranking.
- Probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, introduce malware, or interfere with the security or operation of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Share private workspace information without authorization, harvest personal data, send spam, or invite people without a legitimate business purpose.
- Use AuthorityCat or connected Google data to build advertising profiles, sell user data, or conduct surveillance unrelated to the user-facing service.
- Use the service to promise guaranteed search rankings, traffic, indexing, or outcomes that cannot be substantiated.
Google and other connected services
Optional integrations, including Google sign-in and Google Search Console, are governed by the relevant provider's terms in addition to these terms. You authorize AuthorityCat to access the data covered by the permissions you grant only for the connected functionality you request.
You may disconnect Google Search Console in AuthorityCat or revoke AuthorityCat access through your Google Account. A provider may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue its service, which can affect the related AuthorityCat feature. AuthorityCat is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.
Intellectual property and content licence
AuthorityCat and its software, design, branding, and original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended business purpose; they do not transfer ownership of AuthorityCat materials to you.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant AuthorityCat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, reproduce, display, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and complete transactions you request. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and grant this licence.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using AuthorityCat at any time and may request account deletion subject to outstanding orders, payment records, security needs, and legal retention duties. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access, remove listings, or cancel pending activity if we reasonably believe there is fraud, risk, illegality, abuse, non-payment, a security threat, repeated policy violation, or material breach of these terms.
Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. We may act immediately when necessary to protect users, the service, third parties, or legal compliance. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive.
Disclaimers
AuthorityCat is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free data, acceptance or permanence of a placement, search-engine treatment, indexing, rankings, traffic, revenue, or any particular SEO outcome. Third-party metrics can change and may be delayed, estimated, or unavailable.
You are responsible for evaluating websites, content, legal requirements, search-engine guidelines, tax obligations, and the suitability of each transaction. Nothing in AuthorityCat constitutes legal, financial, tax, or guaranteed SEO advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthorityCat will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, rankings, traffic, or business opportunities arising from the service, a marketplace participant, a placement, or a third-party integration.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthorityCat's aggregate liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to AuthorityCat for the service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event or USD 100. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold AuthorityCat harmless from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your content, listings, placements, unlawful conduct, infringement of rights, misuse of the service, or breach of these terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by AuthorityCat's own unlawful conduct.
Disputes and applicable law
Before filing a formal claim, please email aamirmursleen@gmail.com with a description of the issue and the relevant account, order, or transaction information so both sides can attempt to resolve it informally. Any unresolved dispute will be handled by a court of competent jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
Changes to the service or terms
We may update AuthorityCat and these terms to reflect product, security, legal, or operational changes. Updated terms will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. If a material change adversely affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
